A 30-year-old woman, Abiodun Olajide, has pleaded guilty to removing her man
friend's teeth with slap while the duo engaged in fisticuffs.Olajide was also said to have inflicted
wounds on Augustine Olukukoyi at their residence at Oguntolu, Somolu, Lagos
State. charge of assault. The charge sheet reads, 'That you,

2013, at about 8.30 hours at Oguntolu
Street, Somolu, Lagos in the Lagos
Magisterial District did inflict wound on
one Augustine Olukukoyi, male, by
slapping him, as a result removed two
teeth and thereby committed an
offence punishable under section
244(a) of the Criminal Law of Lagos
State, Nigeria, 2011'
[b]When the charge was read, she pleaded
guilty.
The matter, which was adjourned until
April 29 [/b]for judgment at Court 4, Yaba,
could not hold because the magistrate
was said to be ill.
