Bomb explosion kills 20 in kano

About 20 people were reportedly killed and several others injured following bomb explosions at a relaxation spot in the Sabon Gari area of Kano state, North West Nigeria.

According to eyewitnesses, the multiple explosions hit the area after someone allegedly dropped Improvised Explosive Devices at the joint while hundreds of people were relaxing after breaking the day’s Ramadan fast.
An eyewitness Tobias Idika, who confirmed the explosion said “for now I can see over 20 people dead while many are injured…right now they are evacuating the victims” he added.
Our correspondent in Kano reports that the police are yet to comment on the issue, but the area has been cordoned off by members of the Joint Task Force (JTF) in the state.
